This instrumental track was born from this concept: the two background colors of the cover represent the two musical instruments featured in the composition—a grand piano and the Japanese harp called Koto. Both produce sound through vibrating strings, yet they have completely different tonal qualities: the piano has a soft, muffled timbre due to the hammer striking the strings, while the harp has bright and metallic characteristics produced by plucking the strings with finger picks.
The twigs on the cover and the birdsong present throughout the track serve as a tribute to nature's awakening during springtime, justifying the artists' choice to release the single on March 21.

The main theme of "A New Day" originates back in 2004, when, during a nighttime composition session, the melodic line of "Lele e la luna" magically took shape. These musical notes remained tucked away for 21 years before finding their place in this new composition.
The track has a duration of 06':49", recorded at home and mixed and mastered using Ableton Live 12. The sounds were carefully selected from Native Instruments Kontakt 8 libraries and those of FluffyAudio, created by Paolo Ingraito, Olmo Chittò, and Simone Mor.
