The single cover arises from a personal choice of the author to use a simple shot taken with an android phone and transformed into black and white to underline the total importance of the creative project focused not on the image or colors of the cover but rather on the melodic line and the sounds chosen and digitally elaborated following a personal taste in the track.
Therefore, it's an instrumental piece matured over time after years of passion linked to listening to New Age music by Jean Michel Jarre, Andreas Vollenweider, Alan Parson Project, and many others, and it found its compositional realization thanks to the discovery of sounds made and made available by the production company Native Instruments, founded in 1996 in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin and now also present in Los Angeles. It's worth noting in the track the presence of choral parts realized thanks to the use of all the voices recorded during the World Tour 2022 - DJESSE by Jacob Collier.
Beppe Martinelli's curiosity and experience in the world of Electronic Music and "Sound Design" began at the age of 16, but it reached its peak in 1985 when Atari made available in the Italian market the first computer capable of simultaneously connecting keyboards, expanders, and drum machines via Midi protocol, reaching up to today where the track was produced using a personally assembled PC using hardware from various brands but with a state-of-the-art MSI motherboard, while the audio interface and MIDI keyboard are M-Audio.
The title of the track links two different thoughts and two different constructive phases, the first linked to the term "Aedo," the singer of the ancient Greek epic tradition, from which derives the use of the harp sound in the track and the theme of space travel in search of a new unknown world, "Unknown Planet".
The track has a duration of 05':22", elaborated in "home recording" and mixed and mastered with Ableton Live 11, while the sounds were chosen from the libraries of Kontakt 7 by Native Instruments and those of FluffyAudio by Paolo Ingraito, Olmo Chittò, and Simone Mor.
